SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Thank you for your interest in working at Brewster Day Camp. Established in 1981, BDC is accredited by the American Camp Association. We pride ourselves on high teaching standards and the fact that we welcome back more than half of each previous summer's wonderful staff. At Brewster Day Camp, we have fun while challenging and nurturing children and supporting their families. We look forward to adding to our cadre of talented and dedicated educators.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have outdoor picnic groves, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a baseball diamond and soccer field. Through the woods there is a high and low ropes course and an archery range. Our pool allows us to swim rain or shine, and we have a large gym, several racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Youth who are eager to learn, develop and enhance their leadership skills in the camp setting, apply to be C.I.T.s. These future counselors train in daily sessions: covering many areas such as effective listening, peer relationships, role modeling and programming.

C.I.T.s work with different age groups learning developmental stages and finding their preferred age group. As a group project, the C.I.T.s will plan and implement a camp-wide carnival.

The C.I.T. program includes a 5-day, 4-night recreational trip to Club Getaway in Kent, CT, from July 15 - July 19. Teens will bond as a group and enjoy boating, rock climbing, group challenge activities, trapeze, giant swing and evening socials. Each applicant is interviewed after registering.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Since 1979, Skyhawks sports has led safe, fun and skill-focused sports camps and programs for youth between the ages of 3-12.

We offer many different different sports--and countless ways for your child to grow. The camps range from soccer to baseball to our popular mulit-sport camps where kids sample three different sports (soccer, basketball and baseball) in one camp.

Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 45 cabins, with the boys bunks on one half and the girls bunks on the other. All of our facilities are state of the art including a brand new gymnastics center, indoor field house including basketball courts along with a dance studio and weights room. Our outdoor amphitheater is set in the pines, and 11 tennis courts are set in the mountains.

Our lake accommodates waterskiing, wake boarding, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and an inflatable obstacle course. The lodge has a stage for all theatrical performances, as well as a movie theater and all purpose facility for the entire camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our building has an indoor space for sports, a kitchen for our cooking activities and 4 classrooms for different age groups. Outside we have a basketball hoop, 4 square and hopscotch alongside the beautiful Forest Park. We drive the children to a Woburn public pool for swimming and go to a local baseball field for our annual ASC Kickball game.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our carefully selected, experienced staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of each child by providing a safe and caring environment. They take an active interest in promoting values of self-esteem, independence and mutual respect. Many are teaching professionals who work in Woburn and surrounding towns. All are trained in CPR, first aid and childhood development. The diversity in age and background of our staff helps to make the ASC "The place where kids have so much fun, they beg to stay later!"

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Digital Designer
Creating your own character can be overwhelming, but this class can teach you the steps you need to create a fully flushed out, real character! This class will teach you how to create a model of your character as well as all of the traits that make the character believable. You can use these characters in anything from D&D to professional animation!

Tabletop Game Inventor
Games come in all shapes, sizes, complexity, and feeling. In this camp students will start by learning how to think about game design and game flow, working through idea, prototype, and finally making a full game that they made and can play with their family and friends. Students will be able to craft their game using a variety of tools to help bring the beauty of their design into the real world.

3D Design in Blender
This class will teach you how to create an amazing 3D character in Blender! This class will focus on how to create your own characters in blender that can be used for any game you might use! We will focus on modeling, rigging, and rendering your character.

Make a game that is uniquely yours using industry leading tools while learning the C# Programming Language! From RPG to adventure game, this camp is all about bringing your story and imagination to life, and at the end you'll have a game that is playable and shareable with your friends.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Our Studio Membership program offers students the opportunity to continue enhancing their skills and working on projects throughout the year. We provide a guided learning environment with individualized instruction, which can be tailored to fit your schedule.

For Jr. Makers Ages (8-11), we have dedicated times for instruction with students at various stages of completion, The project diversity helps students communicate and bounce ideas off each other, part of community building. Are you a tinkerer? Do you enjoy taking things apart and then putting them back together? How about using the latest technologies and real world equipment to teach kids how the world works? If so, then this may be your dream job! Guild Hall Studios (Our Camp Website Link: www.guildhalllearning.com) is an educational makerspace that introduces children and teens ages 8-18 to STEM and real world job concepts using readily available, easy to learn, yet powerful tools and components. We are hiring additional smart, creative, dynamic coding and engineering instructors to deliver our one of a kind program to students in Woburn, MA and throughout the Boston area. This part-time position includes teaching programs during after school hours (4pm-7pm) with weekday mornings and weekends throughout the year, and full day camp programs during the summer.

Buckle up – this is hard work! At Guild Hall every kid and every project is unique. You'll be in charge of leading excited kids through challenging projects using, managing classroom conflicts, constantly learning and collaborating with other instructors. – this will be the toughest job you’ll ever love!

REQUIREMENTS: Flexible schedule: availability during weekday afternoons and some weekends a must during school year, full weekdays during summer months are available as well.

Experience and passion for teaching teenage students in an energized maker classroom or summer camp setting.

Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Kreative Kidz camps are fun, high-energy programs that allow young people to fully engage their imaginations as they experience the thrill of creating live theatre. From learning the basic techniques of acting for the stage, to developing improvisation and physical comedy skills, to putting it all together in a public performance, it will be a summer your child will never forget. Students participate in a wide variety of theatre activities--including improvisation, scene study, storytelling, creative writing, and group singing--all taught by caring teachers dedicated to meeting each child at his or her level.

Wendy Darling mesmerizes her brothers every night with bedtime tales of swordplay, swashbuckling and the fearsome Captain Hook. This week we’ll be working on past and current Broadway musicals. With skits, songs and dances from popular shows.

Superheroes and Villains - July 23-27
Calling all superheroes! Students will dress up like their favorite heroes and villains. We’ll create a script together with characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, The Hulk, and Iron Man.

Pop Star Studio - July 30-Aug 3
Spend the week feeling like a pop star! Students will perform solos, duets and group numbers. They will also learn choreography to some of their favorite songs. This camp is a chance for students of all talent levels to have time in the spotlight.

Laugh Out Loud – Aug 6-10
Get ready to laugh the week away, with hilarious and outrageous skits written by the students themselves. It’s sure to be a week full of fun.

Trolls – Aug 13-17
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the very grumpy Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends.

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. CAMP FACILITIES: Lodging accommodations at Camp Timber Trails include rustic summer cabins sleeping 4-8; three private cabins with 1-2 bedrooms, bath, and kitchens; the Lodge sleeps 6 and has a meeting space for 60 and small commercial kitchen; the Welcome Center sleeps 2-6 and has meeting space for 25 and a kitchen. West Wind Dining Hall and kitchen can accommodate up to 500. The Barefoot Ballroom is uniquely fitted with a sprung wooden dance floor.

An outdoor amphitheater overlooking the pond has bench style seating for 200. The waterfront on 16-acre Ward's Pond includes swimming beach and docks for canoes, kayaks and row boats. The large activity field has plenty of space for softball, soccer, concerts, festivals and outdoor events.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Timber Trails is available for groups to rent for a single day, a week or a month. Our facilities allow groups the flexibility of creating their own unique camping program. Camp facilities are available from May through October for overnight groups with as few as 10 to as many as 250 participants. Non-residential day programs can accommodate groups larger than 250. Scheduling programs from November through April is also possible, however groups size is limited to 20 for overnight programs and 50 for day use.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our CIT program is for those finishing 10th grade and having previous Camp W*K experience.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Campers and their families are invited to join us at Family Camp for Memorial Day Weekend as our guests. Eat in the Dining Hall, participate in activities like tennis or softball, and even sleep in a bunk!

We strongly encourage families of first-time and veteran campers to join us. The weekend is an excellent opportunity for first-time campers to learn their way around Camp, meet some new friends and get comfortable before they arrive in the summer. Members of the Camp W*K Staff will also be in attendance to lead Planning Session, offer periods and answer questions.

In addition to being completely nut and sesame free, we easily accommodate gluten-free, dairy, wheat, soy, egg, and fish allergies. Vegans or Vegetarians also appreciate our menu options. Our chef uses only fresh ingredients, cooks and bakes from scratch, and ensures there is no cross-contamination of food products. We partner with our families in ensuring that all food sent to Camp is ingredient-checked before being sent to the bunk. This includes food items made with sesame or peanut oil and/or produced in a factory that uses sesame or nuts. The safety and well being of everyone at camp is our priority. In the event of any emergency, we are within five-to-seven minutes of the nearest hospital.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program for ages 16-18 provides leadership experience for talented high school musicians. CIT students assist with activities throughout the day, and have daily rehearsal and coaching time within their CIT ensembles.

CAMP FACILITIES: The main building at Belvoir is a historical mansion built in 1886, one of the Lenox great estates landscaped by Olmstead who created central park in New York City. There are now eighteen buildings on the site including four modern dorms subdivded into bunk rooms, four dancing studios, fifteen art studios, twenty two music studios, five theaters, two pools, six tennis courts, lawns, wooded paths, gardens, and all with a view of the Berkshire hills.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Belvoir is an individualized six week educational summer program with excellent teaching in all program areas. The fifteen MFA art teachers offer small classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, black and white and digital photography and jewelry. Girls can elect one or many studio classes. The dance faculty teach graded classes of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap. Belvoir has an appropriately challenging and fun dance class for every girl and all dancers enjoy performance opportunities. The large graduate music faculty offer twice weekly music lessons in all instruments and voice. There are opportunities for recitals, chamber music, opera, and orchestra.

Belvoir has a large theater program. Classes are offered in acting, musical theater and Shakespeare, with many large, quality performances in 4 theaters (2 indoor air-conditioned theaters). The department also offers writing, costuming and all aspects of technical theater. Campers enjoy high level sports instruction in tennis, swimming and riding. Archery, volleyball and basketball are also offered at Belvoir. The totally choice program, the supportive welcoming staff and campership make Belvoir a unique opportunity for young women excited about learning in the arts. Belvoir campers learn in their classes, enjoy camp events, parties, evening activities, trip-days, and make life-long friends!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The campers have opportunities to learn leadership skills from an early age. Belvoir's program is based on each individual camper's choice. Through this individual programming, each camper is learning leadership skills. Also, various age groups have opportunities to lead part of, or the entire, evening activity. Learning how to work together, come up with a common theme, and structure the event adds to the leadership experience.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The mission of US Performing Arts Camps is to promote and develop the growth of performing artists in America.

US Performing Arts Camps is considered the premier top tier summer program for training young people in the arts. Our programs are taught by the university or college departments and their professional faculty and guest professionals in their fields.

US Performing Arts offers programs in Animation, Computer Animation, Costume design, Directing, Film-making (including 4K High-definition), Dance, Hip Hop Dance, Musical Theater, Play-writing, Sit Com Writing, Sit Com Acting, Singing, Voice-over work for animation, movies and games, and we started the first College Audition Boot Camps for high school students.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our school is made up of 4 buildings. We house 70 dorm rooms, a dining hall, classrooms, library, media centers and much more. We have 6 tennis courts, an outdoor pool, fitness center, art and theater areas. Outside we are set on 100 acres of land that include forest and vast open spaces. Our barn is our pride and joy and at this point is the home to 35 school horses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Speak Up I: Introduction to Debate and Public Speaking Camp is designed for campers who have little or no experience in speaking in front of a group. Our goals are to have fun and learn some ways to use our voices effectively.

Speak Up II: This camp is designed for high school students ready to refresh, refine, and advance their public speaking skills. Gain confidence as you learn from and with others who are seeking to enhance their voice powers/amplify their voices? in a fun, supportive environment!

Performing Arts: Campers will take part in dance, voice and theater.

Bonnie Castle Equestrian: Premiere riding camp for beginner and experienced riders. This summer we will be offering the British Horse Society Program challenge awards, where campers will work at their own pace to complete learning opportunities as equestrians.

Campers are taught by Stoneleigh-Burnham staff. Counselors for the residential programs are CPR and first aid certified as well as we complete criminal offender and sex offender background checks.
